Take advantage of blue skies and wonderful vistas. Visit the Grand Coulee Dam area in Eastern Washington on the Columbia River. It is 85 miles west of Spokane WA, 210 miles east of Seattle, and 80 miles south of Canada. There are lots of activities there for the whole family. Try your luck at fishing in the many lakes and rivers that are open all year round.
You can also take nature walks and go hiking on one of over a dozen scenic and historical trails. There are many wonderful Grand Coulee cabins you can stay in. These accommodations are ideal for families to singles to honeymooning couples. You may also want to time your visit during the twice-yearly Sunbanks Rhythm and Blues Festival during the fall and spring that attracts talented musicians from all over the country.
