snorkel

I have never been much of a swimmer. My friends have raved about diving for years. I have not found the time to go diving with them. I find it a bit scary and expensive. However, on my honeymoon, I got to try diving, snorkeling, caving and windsurfing, all in one weekend! We stayed in an island resort and on the first day I had to decide whether I would snorkel or dive. I chose to snorkel.

I did not expect that I would snorkel just around the resort. I thought the boat would take us someplace else and we would snorkel in the middle of the ocean. I didn’t realize there were so many fishes around our resort. I saw so many types of fishes just a few meters from where I would sunbathe. I even saw a mini turtle! I loved snorkeling; I liked it better than diving. Given a chance, I wouldn’t mind going snorkeling again in the near future.
