Safety Gear for Scuba Divers

Get a lot of freedom of movement underwater. Choose scuba diving over free diving, mixed gas, and other forms of technical driving. In scuba diving, you simply swim with simple to operate and easy to maintain equipment. Aside from a mask and fins, basic scuba gear consists of a cylinder containing compressed air attached to a two-stage demand regulator.
The regulator lowers the air pressure in steps and dispenses it to the diver as needed. Cylinders are made of steel or aluminum alloy. Other devices needed which are critical for safety include a pressure gauge, depth gauge, and dive timer. These instruments let the diver know about the amount of air left in the cylinder, his depth in the water, and how much time has already been spent underwater.
