Illuminate Your Way Underwater

It gets darker as you go deeper into the ocean. Make sure you see your way clearly. Never go diving without a dive light. There are many types of light bulbs, lens/reflectors and batteries used. These affect the degree of beam and brightness.
When shopping for a dive light, consider the following factors before finally selecting your best choice. Study how long the burn time is and overall brightness. Check how wide or focused the beam is. A tightly focused beam will have high exposure value (EV) units at the center but will drop off as you move out from the center. On the other hand, wider beams have less abrupt drop offs.
