Clear-Cut Benefits of Carry-On Luggage

In recent years, security procedures and a serious budget crunch have made air travel much more difficult for the average American. Airlines make a habit of charging an arm and a leg for every piece of checked luggage – not to mention weight restrictions – and baggage handlers aren’t exactly gentle on those personal items during transport. The only way to ensure that your bag is handled with the delicacy and care it deserves is to take it as carry on leather luggage.

Most airlines have rigid carry-on policies wherein passengers are allowed one bag up to a certain size in addition to one personal item. The personal item is somewhat more vague and nebulous – it could be a camera, a briefcase, some reading material or a laptop in a carrying bag. Perhaps the biggest advantage inherent to traveling light with a carry-on bag is your ability to skip the lengthy luggage collection process at flight’s end.
