Its travel season again. Thanksgiving and Christmas is the busiest season to travel. To avoid inconveniences when traveling always use good luggage. The last thing you want is to spill your stuff including your dirty underwear in the airport for everyone to see. When buying luggage, there’s only one kind for me, rolling luggage.

Rolling luggage will make traveling so much easier. You won’t have to strain your arms and back lugging stuff around. Who wants to go on vacation with a sore back? The best polling luggage for me are ones with four wheels. They are so much easier to maneuver. Also, when buying luggage get loud colors or unusual designs. That way it is easy to spot in the carousel amid hundreds of luggage.

An organized packer will try to put himself in the shoes of security officers. He will layer the items so that it is easy for the inspectors to see. He will put heavier items on the bottom and alternately layer clothes with electronics and other personal effects. A good heavy duty luggage will ensure that the contents are well protected. A hard case luggage has the advantage of absorbing the impact by flexing when under heavy stress. However, it can be heavy on its own compared to other kinds of luggage.

Here are a few tips to remember when preparing for your trip: ~Have your boarding pass and ID ready for inspection when you get to the checkpoint. ~Remove your coat and shoes and place them in a bin. ~Place any oversized electronics (laptops, full-size video game consoles, DVD players and video cameras that use cassettes) in a separate bin. IPods and other smaller electronics can stay in your carry-on bag.~Follow the 3-1-1 rule for liquids and put your one quart baggie separately in the bin. ~If you’re not sure about whether you can bring an item through the checkpoint, put it in your checked bag or leave it at home.

When traveling, there’s so much to attend to. It involves setting the date, booking the trip and checking on the place to go to, especially for first-time travelers. But the most important and stressful of all the pre-trip errands is the ‘packing’ part. This is where the traveler usually spends more time in. And more often than not, he’s having problems on how to put everything in just one bag. The right luggage to use in a long trip is usually the dilemma here.

But this should not be the case. When one is scheduled to travel, he should be relaxed and looking forward to an experience whether business or leisure, away from his usual home. There are spacious yet lightweight sets of luggage to choose from for easy travel. Mostly are designed with multi-compartment to put in the items accordingly. These partitions make it easier for the traveler to find the things he needs in his trip.

Travelling is always fun and memorable especially in the company of families or friends. Recently, a good friend went on a tour of the beautiful islands of Greece. From the majestic Parthenon, Acropolis, Olympia, to the very beautiful sunset of Santorini my friend shared her all experiences in her emails. Naturally, her wonderful sojourn and gastronomic adventures were all captured in photos so I look forward to receiving her emails with equal excitement.

Everything, every detail of her exploration of this beautiful country is worth of bulky scrapbook project. Unforgettable moments for her was the harrowing donkey ride in Santorini. It was fun yet nerve-wracking because despite the weight of my friend and the 3 piece travelers choice luggage sets on its back, the donkey was galloping like a racer on the steeply trail leading to the hotel. Good thing my friend was holding on to the reigns tightly she made it to the hotel in one piece. When asked if she’s going back, my friend said yeah, I dream of retiring in Greece.

Sure the current economy has slowed down many businesses and that includes the travel industry. But there are a lot of people who are also taking advantage of the low airfare rates and push through with their much awaited vacation. These have created a demand for many things, one of which is the travel bag.

The travel bag is one of the first things you take care of when you plan to travel. You make sure that it will accommodate all the things that you need to bring. You also make certain that its specifications are within the restrictions of airline rules. Exterior looks are important. But even more critical is if the material used can withstand the rigors of rough handling by airline personnel.

Not all trips or vacations last for weeks. Sometimes you just want to take a short weekend trip out in the country. For these kinds of trips, a suitcase would be too bulky and heavy. The more logical choice would be a rolling duffle bag. It’s lighter, easier to carry and store.

Plus, most duffle bags have numerous compartments. This removes the need of having to bring different overnight kits or toiletry bags. They come in various colors and sizes. And with the added wheels feature, you don’t have to put a lot of stress into carrying your bag. The rolling duffle bag is definitely the weekend traveler’s luggage of choice.
